Our Donors

At the Berkeley Library Foundation, we believe that you can never say "thank you" enough. But we’re certainly going to try. A Book of Names, housed in the Central Library, lists every donor who gave to the We Love the Library campaign to renovate and expand the historical building in downtown Berkeley. Major gifts are commemorated by tiles adorning the wall outside the library's new Community Meeting Room on the 3rd floor, a permanent display that recognizes the tremendous generosity of Berkeley's citizenry. Larger donors are named in special locations throughout the library. The Branching Out Campaign is fast becoming another library success story. Many donors from the first campaign have stepped forward to help. Each and every donation brings us that much closer to bringing our neighborhood facilities up to the standard that Central Library has now established. As the campaign moves forward, there will be several opportunities to formally thank the many library supporters who are making the branch renovations possible.
