Our Mission

The mission of the Berkeley Public Library Foundation (BPLF) is to support our community's knowledge and learning by enhancing library facilities, programs, and services.

Our Strategic Plan 2005 - 2010

BPLF's goals include the following:

1. Support the renovation of the Berkeley Public Library Branches.

2. Ensure the diverse, plentiful, and up-to-date collection of books, materials, and informational technology offered at the Berkeley Public Library.

3. Help build bridges to historically underserved members of the community and the Berkeley Public Library.

4. Help the Berkeley Public Library Branches open in order to satisfy the needs of the community.
